Club House of Golf Course

2004

PECS was responsible for the structural and foundation projects and for some specialties of the buildings of Clube House do Campo de Golfe in Porto Santo.

In addition to the development of the projects, he was also responsible for their coordination and for monitoring the respective administrative licenses.

The buildings in question correspond to the Main Building, with 2 floors (one of which is semi-buried), of different use, and the Building of the Ordinance.

Description

The structure projected for the main building consists, at the level on the 1st floor, of a 0.50 m thick light-shaped slab, generally having 0.425 m high coconuts. The existence of massive bands between pillars was considered in order to improve the structural behavior of the set. For reasons of poor absorption capacity of the punching loads that occur in the slab, it was necessary to consider the existence of reinforced concrete capitals in some pillars. The roof floor is fundamentally constituted by a truss structure of wooden trusses that rests on a reinforced concrete peripheral beam, except for the 2 existing technical floors in reinforced concrete slab supported on the existing columns and walls, in reinforced concrete.
